Mark Millage
A Sioux Falls native, Mark Millage was an executive with KELO-TV in Sioux Falls – serving nearly two decades as its News Director.
At KELO-TV he was the primary manager of one of the most highly rated newsrooms in the United States. He oversaw all news, weather and sports content as well as the web development for KELOLAND.com, a website which receives more than 4 million monthly visits. In addition, Mr. Millage managed a team more than 40 full and part-time employees and a budget of $2.2 million dollars. He comes to Kilian armed deep media and marketing expertise, exceptional management & relationship building skills and a passion for the Sioux Falls community.
Among numerous awards and recognition, Mark, in 1994, was honored with the Distinguished Journalism Alumni Award from SDSU. In 2002, Mark received the Tom Brokaw Award for journalism excellence and leadership from the South Dakota Broadcasters Association in 2001. Under his leadership, KELO-TV has twice won prestigious Edward R. Murrow national awards.
